Respondent COMMON PRAYER: Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, praying to amend the order dated 09.02.2026 made in Crl.O.P.No.1311 of 2026 in the cause title "CBCID-OCU Police Station, The Nilgiris District in Cr.No.1/2025 as CBCID Nilgiris Police Station, The Nilgiris District in Cr.No.1/2025" and the bail to the satisfaction of "Judicial Magistrate, Coimbatore" as Judicial Magistrate, Udhagamandalam"; and to extend the time granted by this Court by order dated 09.02.2026 in Crl.O.P.No.1311 of 2026 for surrender and execution of bond by further period of 15 days, despite the expiry of the earlier period. COMMON ORDER These Criminal Miscellaneous Petition has been filed to to amend the order dated 09.02.2026 made in Crl.O.P.No.1311 of 2026 in the cause title "CBCID-OCU Police Station, The Nilgiris District in Cr.No.1/2025 as CBCID Nilgiris Police Station, The Nilgiris District in Cr.No.1/2025" and the bail to the satisfaction of "Judicial Magistrate, Coimbatore" as Judicial Magistrate, Udhagamandalam"; and to extend the time granted by this Court by order dated 09.02.2026 in Crl.O.P.No.1311 of 2026 for surrender and execution of bond by further period of 15 days, despite the expiry of the earlier period.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side.
3.While looking at the petition, the name of the respondent is referred as The Inspector of Police, CBCID Nilgiris Police Station, The Nilgiris District, whereas in the order while typing the cause title, it has been inadvertently typed as Inspector of Police, CBCID-OCU Police Station, Coimbatore District. Similarly, in prayer column also, wrongly typed. Apart from that, the Court, where the petitioner has to comply with the condition, shows the Judicial 2 / 4
Magistrate, Coimbatore, whereas the petitioner seeks before the Judicial Magistrate, Uthagamandalam.
4.Considering the above submissions, these Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are allowed. In view of the order passed in the amendment petition, time is extended for two weeks for surrender and execution of the bond. 11.03.2026 ata Note: Registry is directed to carry out necessary amendment in the order and issue corrected order copy to the parties.
