ORDER

The 4th respondent in A.S.No.15 of 1997 on the file of Sub Court, Kallakurichi has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the Trial Court to dispose of the application in I.A.No.98 of 2014 in A.S.No.15 of 1997, within a stipulated time.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner submitted that the petitioner filed an application in I.A.No.98 of 2014 to condone the delay of 1316 days in representing the Review Application filed in A.S.No.15 of 1997. The learned counsel further submitted that since the application is pending for more than one year, the Lower Appellate Court may be directed to dispose of the application, within a stipulated time.

3. Having regard to the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner and also taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Civil Revision Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the Sub Court, Kallakurichi to dispose of the application in I.A.No.98 of 2014 in A.S.No.15 of 1997 on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With this observation, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
