The petitioner has filed this contempt petition to punish the respondents for willful disobedience of the order passed in W.P.No.23905 of 2013, dated 18.08.2017.

2.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the direction issued by this Court has been complied with. However, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that some portion of the direction was only complied with by the respondents. In any event, this Contempt Petition is closed at present in view of the implementation of the direction passed by this Court by the respondents. To that effect, the learned Government Advocate has produced a copy of G.O.(2D) No.39, Municipal Administration and Water Supply (TP.1) Department, dated 16.05.2018, before this Court. In case, the petitioner is aggrieved by the implementation of the direction by this Court, it is always open to the petitioner to seek remedy in accordance with law, if he is so advised.
