JUDGMENT
This Criminal Appeal has been directed against the convictions and sentences passed in Sessions Case No.170 of 2007 by the Additional District and Sessions Court, Fast Track Court, Kallakurichi.
2. During the pendency of the appeal, the sole appellant has passed away and to that effect, a memo has been filed on the side of the respondent, wherein, his death certificate has been furnished. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has also confirmed the factum of death of the appellant and therefore, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the memo is recorded and consequently, the charge against the appellant/accused has become abated. Therefore, the present criminal appeal has become infructuous and accordingly, the same is disposed of.
