Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the first, second and third respondents to provide police protection to the petitioner's Industry to run peacefully with its staff and willing workers and thereby suitably prevent the fourth to eleventh respondents, their members, office bearers, agents and outside supporters, from assembling within a radius of 300 metres of the petitioner's factory premises, from preventing the free ingress and egress of men, materials and vehicles.

Heard Mr.P.S.Vasanthakumar, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.B.Anand, learned Government Advocate for the respondents 1 to 3; Mr.K.Nagarajan, learned counsel for the respondents 5 to 11 and perused the materials available on record.

The prayer in the Writ Petition is for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to provide police protection to the petitioner industry to run peacefully with its staff and willing workers and thereby prevent the respondents 4 to 11 and their men from assembling within a radius of 300 metres of the petitioner's factory.
3. This Writ Petition has been filed on the basis of complaint of the petitioner dated 20.01.2011 and the representation dated 28.01.2011.
4. The learned Government Advocate submitted that there is no threat in the petitioner Company and if any circumstances arises in future, the petitioner may be directed to give a representation, and the same would be considered in accordance with law.
5. Recording the above submission of the learned Government Advocate, this Writ Petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
