O R D E R
The petitions challenge the orders passed in Crl.M.P.Nos.1349 and 1348 of 2023, respectively wherein while suspending the sentence of imprisonment imposed on the petitioner by the Trial Court, namely, Special Metropolitan Magistrate Court / XVI Court of Small Causes at Chennai, the petitioner was asked to deposit 20% of the compensation amount to the credit of C.C numbers on the file of the Trial Court, within a period of 60 days.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would deposit the said 20% of the compensation amount and prays for an extension of 30 days time for making the said 2/5
deposit.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and also the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the time for making the deposit of 20% of the compensation amount to the credit of S.T.C. Nos. 1032 & 1026 of 2021 on the file of the Special Metropolitan Magistrate's Court / XVI Court of Small Causes at Chennai, is extended for a further period of 4 weeks from today, i.e., 31.03.2023.
4. With the above observation, the petitions are disposed of. No costs.
