This petition is filed by the petitioner to modify the condition imposed in para 11(c) of the order passed by this Court in Crl.R.C.No.485 of 2023, dated 15.03.2023

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this Court, by order dated 15.03.2023 passed in Crl.R.C.No.485 of 2023, while enlarging the petitioner on Statutory Bail, imposed a condition in paragraph 11(c) that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police on the first working day of every month. He further submitted that on account of severe life threatening issues from anti-social elements and threatening of respondent police to register a false case against the petitioner, he is unable to report daily before the respondent police, therefore, instead of appearing before the respondent police, he may be directed to appear before the Principal Special Judge under NDPS Act, Chennai. Stating so, he seeks for modification of the abovesaid condition.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Govt. 1/3

Advocate (crl.side) and perused the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition.

4. Considering the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this court is inclined to modify the condition No.11(c) imposed on the petitioner in the order passed in Crl.R.C.No.485 of 2023, dated 15.03.2023. Accordingly, instead of reporting before the respondent police, the petitioner shall report before the learned Principal Special Judge under NDPS Act, Chennai at 10.30 a.m., on every first working day of every month until further orders.

6. Except the above modification, the other conditions imposed in the order dated 15.03.2023 passed in Crl.R.C.No.485 of 2023 shall remain unaltered.
