ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to subdivide the property in S. No.47/3A, Deviyakurichi, Attur Taluk, Salem District.

According to the petitioner, the petitioner has purchased a property in Survey No.47/3A in Deviyakurichi, Attur taluk, Salem District, and a joint patta has been issued in the name of the petitioner as well as some of the co-owners. Hence, the petitioner has filed an application through online on 21.12.2020 to effect sub division and issue a separate patta in https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

favour of his name. But, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. 3.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 4.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, and the petitioner's application dated 21.12.2020 is pending with the first respondent/ Tahsildar, without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 21.12.2020 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law after giving opportunity to the petitioner as well as the joint pattadhar, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
