ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for the issue of writ of Mandamus directing the respondents and in particular, the 2nd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner wherein the petitioner is seeking for the cancellation of patta issued in favour of the respondents 7 and 8 with respect to the subject property.

Heard M.Nabirajan, learned counsel for the petitioner and M.R.Gokul Krishnan, learned Additional Government Pleader for Respondents 1 to 6.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the 2nd respondent to deal with the representation made by the petitioner dated 05.01.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the respondents 7 and 8 and final orders shall be passed within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
