Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner was appointed as Assistant Technical Officer under the Respondent Corporation on 23.07.2009. It is the usual procedure to consider those who have completed 10 years of service to be promoted as Technical Officer and it has been done in the cases of all other similarly placed persons. made a representation for re-designating his post from Assistant Technical Officer to Technical Officer. Even though, he made reminder on 29.11.2019, his representation is pending without consideration.

3. Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the materials available on record.

4. Considering the limited prayer, without expressing any opinion on merits, a direction is given to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law and pass order within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
