ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to issue patta in respect of land in S.No.2/284-2 in Pachanampatti Colony, Pachanampatti Village, Omalur taluk, Salem District.

2. According to the petitioner, the petitioner is in possession and enjoyment of the property in in S.No.2/284-2 in Pachanampatti Colony, Pachanampatti Village, Omalur taluk, Salem District, for more than 6 years. On 14.11.2019, the petitioner has made an application before the second respondent for issuance of patta. But, the same has not been considered till date. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. The learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, would submit that now the matter is posted on 30.04.2021 for enquiry before the 2nd respondent/Tahsildar and the petitioner may be directed to appear before the 2nd respondent for enquiry.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, and the petitioner's representation is pending with the second respondent, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to complete the enquiry and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law after giving opportunity to the petitioner, within a period of eight

(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
