ORDER

This writ petition is filed seeking a writ of mandamus directing the respondent not to take any further action pursuant to the demand notice dated 07.04.2015 for a period of two months, so as to enable the petitioner to settle the entire loan account maintained with the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent bank.

Mr. V. Karthick, learned counsel, representing the learned counsel for the petitioner, submits that pursuant to the demand notice dated 07.04.2015, a representation has already been made by the petitioner within the specified time, i.e. 60 days from the date of receipt of the demand notice. What the petitioner needs is some more time from the respondent bank to settle the dispute. We do not propose to make any observation. However, we expect that if such a representation is or has been made by the petitioner before the respondent bank, the respondent bank shall consider the same on the facts of the case and on merits, in the interest of justice.

The writ petition stands disposed of with the above observation. Costs made easy.
