Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to credit the arrears of salary and dearness allowances of Rs.3492/- due to the petitioner as per the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in H.4/7833/95 dated 22.08.1995 along with interest as admissible by law within a stipulated time and to direct the 3rd respondent to wend the petitioner's Service Register to the 2nd respondent to enable entry.

ORDER
The petitioner is working as a Revenue Inspector in the Thiruthuraipoondi Municipality. He made a representation to the 2nd respondent - Commissioner Tirunelveli Corporation, wherein he has stated that he worked during 1989 to 1993 as a clerk. According to him, as per the Vth Pay Commission recommendations, the petitioner has to be paid Rs.3492/- and he is entitled to receive the same with interest. He made representation dated 5.5.2015 to the 2nd respondent in this regard. He has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to pay Rs.3492/- along with interest. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that it is sufficient if the representation dated 5.5.2015 made by the petitioner is directed to be considered and disposed of by the 2nd respondent.
3. Heard Mrs.M.E.Raniselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 1st respondent, Mr.S.Kandasamy, learned counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent and Mr.R.Ravichandran, learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent.
4. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation dated 5.5.2015 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. However, there is no order as to costs.
