ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to register petitioner's complaint dated 16.04.2015, thoroughly investigate and arrest the miscreants. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that the petitioner had supplied aluminum foils to one Global Pharma through Chennai Prints & Packs, but the consignment has not reached consignee. It is the case of the petitioner that the driver of the lorry who had taken delivery of the consignment on different dates has not delivered the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

consignment to the consignee.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor represents that in this regard the petitioner lodged a complaint on 16.04.2015 before the Inspector of Police, Vadapalani Police Station.

5. Under such circumstances, this Court directs the Inspector of Police, Vadapalani Police Station to conduct enquiry under the supervision of an Assistant Commissioner of Police, Vadapalani Range on the complaint dated 16.04.2015 given by the petitioner and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].

This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
