ORDER

In view of the amendment made under the provisions of the Registration Act to cancel the registered document, the petitioner has to approach the District Registrar concerned, who, in turn, has to conduct an enquiry by affording opportunity to the parties.

2. On account of subsequent amendment made in the Registration Act and on account of efflux of time, the relevant grounds raised in the writ petition deserves no further adjudication. Thus, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the competent Civil Court of law for the purpose of redressal of his grievances and in the event of any such approach, the authority concerned 2/4

shall conduct an enquiry and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
