Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent to issue Patta in favour of the petitioner with respect to the properties owned by the petitioner being the land properties in accordance with the Settlement Deed dated 07.07.2008 registered as Document No.5755/2008 before SRO Guduvanchery to the extent of 1925 sq.ft., in Plot bearing No.776 in Vedachalam Nagar in No.112, Adanur Village and Sriperumbudur Taluk, Old S.No.361/1B, 361/3 and 361/4, New S.No.395/25 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the properties morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1, 2 and 4. Since no adverse order is passed against the 3rd respondent in this writ petition, notice to the 3rd respondent is dispensed with by this Court. Page No.2 of 6
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that only after survey is done by the 2nd respondent, the request of the petitioner seeking grant of patta in her favour can be considered by the 2nd respondent. She also claims that the petitioner had already submitted a separate application with the 2nd respondent requesting the 2nd respondent to survey and demarcate the boundaries of her properties.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's applications seeking survey and demarcation of boundaries as well as issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of all the necessary parties, which includes the 3rd respondent, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's applications.

For the foregoing reasons, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to survey and demarcate the boundaries of the properties morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, based on the petitioner's online application, dated 01.04.2025, after hearing the Page No.3 of 6
objections, if any, from all the necessary parties, which includes the 3rd respondent, and thereafter, the 2nd respondent is directed to pass final orders on the petitioner's online application, dated 06.11.2025 seeking grant of patta in the name of the petitioner for the properties morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the 3rd respondent, the neighbouring land owners as well as any other third party, whom the 2nd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
