..Respondents (R4 is Suo Motu impleaded as per order dated 21.03.2017 by N.K.K.J. in WP.No.16933/2015) Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the second respondent herein in letter No.MCI34(41)E66/2014-Med./145300, dated 15.12.2014 and the consequential order of the third respondent in letter No.43832/MC2/2014-2, dated 22.01.2015 and the consequential order of disapproval of the second respondent in letter No.MCI34(41)EE66/2014-Med./156032, dated 31.01.2015 and quash the same and consequently direct the first respondent to process the application of the petitioner for grant of permission to establish medical college from the academic year 2015-2016 based upon the essentiality certificate issued by the third respondent vide proceedings dated 29.08.2008 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

On 20.06.2017, when the matter was taken up for hearing, it was represented by the learned counsel for the petitioner that he has given change of vakalat and a memo was also filed to that effect. Hence, the Registry was directed to print the name of the petitioner and post the matter on 29.06.2017.

2. Even today, when the matter is listed, though the name of the petitioner is printed in the cause list, there is no representation for the petitioner either in person or through counsel. Hence, the Writ Petition is dismissed for 'non prosecution'. No costs.
