ORDER

The petitioner in this revision is the plaintiff in the suit. He originally filed O.S.No.88 of 1999 on the file of the District Munsif, Thiruvotriyur seeking the relief of declaration of title and for recovery of possession. After a new court was created in Madhavaram, due to bifurcation of jurisdiction, O.S.No.88 of 1999 stood transferred to the file of the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate Court at Madhavaram, and was renumbered as O.S.No.73

of 2020.

2. The petitioner wants for a direction for early disposal of the suit proceedings.

3. Considering the fact that the parties are litigating in the court for the past 25 years, I am inclined to give a direction. Accordingly, the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate at Madhavaram shall take up O.S.No.73 of 2020 on priority basis and dispose of the same within a period of eight months from the date of the receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, this civil revision petition is disposed of. No costs.
