(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) The writ petition is based on mere apprehension that the licenses granted in respect of two sand quarries even after expiry may be renewed, which is not permissible.

2. The learned Government Pleader states that once the licence comes to an end, there is no question of extension and the licence, if to be issued, would be so done in terms of the relevant rules.

3. The aforesaid statement is taken on record and the writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, M.P.No.1 of 2015 is closed.
