Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Habeas Corpus to call for the records in connection with the order of Detention, passed by the second respondent dated 28.02.2020 in Memo No.151/BCDFGISSSV/2020 against the petitioner's husband, Sekar, male aged 43 years, S/o.Balasubramanian, who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner is the wife of Sekar, aged 43 years, S/o.Balasubramanian, who is the detenu. The detenu has been detained by the second respondent by his order in Memo No.151/BCDFGISSSV/2020 dated 28.02.2020, holding him to be a "Goonda", as contemplated under Section 2(e) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the very same petitioner has already filed a petition in H.C.P.No.879 of 2020 and the same was allowed by this Court by order dated 05.11.2020.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this habeas corpus petition is closed as no further orders are required.
