By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner claiming to be the organiser of temple festival of Sri Mariamman Temple, Adiyur Post, Tirupattur Taluk, Vellore District, submitted an application dated 8.6.2015, to the respondent praying for permission to conduct cultural event, which includes song and dance programme, in connection with the temple festival to be held on 17.6.2015, and since he has not been favoured with any kind of response, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, would submit that though the application dated 8.6.2015, was delivered to the respondent on 11.6.2015 itself, no orders have been passed and in the event of permission being granted, there will be no law and order https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
problem, obscenity or vulgarity during the programme and prays for appropriate orders.
4.The Court heard the submissions of Mr.Rm.Muthukumar, learned Government Advocate, who accepted notice for the respondent. 5.This Court, without going into the merits of the representation/application, directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application dated 8.6.2015, in accordance with law, on or before 17.6.2015, and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
