This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to provide the final report for the complaint ID CTH1739949 or issue Non-Traceable certificate.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner lodged a complaint, for tracing certain misplaced documents, through online on 11.09.2017 and another manual complaint on 06.10.2017 before the respondent police. The web search on the Complaint ID CTH1739949 shows the status of the complaint as "disposed". But the respondent police have not taken any steps to investigate into the matter and file a final report. Hence, the present petition.
3. Under such circumstances, there shall be a direction to the respondent to issue a non-traceable certificate to the petitioner within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
