ORDER

This writ petition is filed to direct the second respondent to issue a legal heirship certificate to the petitioner in respect of the death of his father, namely Ramalingam.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, there is no dispute regarding the legal heirs. An application has already been made, however the same is kept pending till date.

3. When the matter came up for admission, Mr.R.Sreedhar, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, submitted that though a representation had initially been made, it can be seen that the petitioner has applied in the proper format. A notice of hearing was also issued on 04.03.2025, requesting the petitioner to approach the second respondent within seven days from the receipt of the communication.

4. In reply, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already appeared on 04.03.2025 and has submitted the relevant forms.

5. In view thereof, this writ petition is disposed of on the following terms:

(i) The petitioner shall appear before the second respondent along with a web copy of this order and submit any documents, including any forms that may be required. The second respondent shall consider the same and pass final orders within four weeks from the date of the petitioner's appearance. (ii) The party shall act on the web copy of the order without waiting for the certified copy. No costs.
