Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider and pass orders on the representations of the petitioner, dated 28.02.2015 and 18.04.2015, requesting not to deduct any amount from out of the payment made to the contractors in the name of contribution to the Manual Workers Fund, Tamil Nadu Manual Workers (Construction Workers) Welfare Scheme, 1994, and to refund the amount already deducted from the contractors. learned counsel submitted that in view of the said letter the prayer sought for by the petitioner in this writ petition has become infructuous.
