Common PRAYER: Writ petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to forthwith transfer the patta for the property measuring 6341 square feet and 11,200 square feet in T.S.No.1 and 4/2 respectively and 4/2A, in New Ward AC, Block 12, situated at Periyeri Village, Salem Taluk, Salem District, in favour of the petitioners by considering and passing orders on the respective applications of the petitioners dated 27.11.2017.

2.The petitioners seek for a mandamus directing the respondent to forthwith transfer the patta for the property measuring 6341 square feet and 11,200 square feet respectively in T.S.No.1 and 4/2A, in New Ward AC, Block 12, situated at Periyeri Village, Salem Taluk, Salem District, in favour of the petitioners by considering and passing orders on the respective applications of the petitioners dated 27.11.2017. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
3. The grievance of the petitioners is that the said applications of the petitioners dated 27.11.2017, seeking for transfer of patta in their favour, have not been considered by the respondents so far.
4.This Court, at this stage, does not express any view on the claim made by the petitioners, as it is for the respondent to consider and decide. Accordingly, both the writ petitions are disposed of only with a direction to the respondent to consider the respective application of the petitioners dated 27.11.2017 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioners and rival claimants, if any. Such exercise shall be done by the respondent within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
