ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to respondents 1 & 2 to dispose of the petitioner 's representation dated 10.06.2023, to measure and demarcate the property bearing in S.No.227/6E to an extent of 46 cents situated at Kottivakkam Village, Saidapet Taluk presently Sholinganallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, presently Chennai District and issue a patta in favour of the petitioner after cancelling the Patta No.18700 dated 20.07.2023.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that he is the absolute owner of the property in S.No.227/6E to an extent of 46 cents situated at Kottivakkam Village, Saidapet Taluk presently Sholinganallur Taluk, Kancheepuram District, presently Chennai District. However, the patta stands wrongly in the name of third party. In this regard, he has given a representation which is pending without consideration till date. Hence, this writ petition.

3. Mr.U.Baranidaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and submitted the representation of the petitioner will be considered as per Section 10 of the The Tamil Nadu Survey and 2/4

Boundaries Act, 1923

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials placed on record. Considering the limited relief sought for in this writ petition, this Court without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.06.2023 in tune with Section 10 of the The Tamil Nadu Survey and Boundaries Act, 1923 on merits and in accordance with law, by issuing notice to the concerned persons before passing any orders. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
