ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who was arrested for the alleged offences under sections 486, 420 I.P.C. and Section 51 (b)(i) read with Section 63(a) of Copyright Act in Crime No.07 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks bail.

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent. 3.The petitioner was arrested on 21.03.2022. The petitioner was found in possession of spurious washing powder and tea of reputed manufacturers. Based on the complaint, the godown of the petitioner was searched and spurious washing powder, spurious brooke bond three roses and spurious tea packets, which were worth about several lakhs, were recovered and these products were kept for distribution to the retailers.

4.Considering the nature of the offence and the fact that the prosecution has yet to find out the manufacturer of the spurious products, this criminal original petition for bail is dismissed for the present.
