Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for both sides are present.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in the last hearing, the learned counsel for the respondent reported before this Court that the matter was settled between the parties and this Court has directed the learned counsel for the petitioner to verify and report before this Court.

3. Today, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that he was not in a position to verify the submissions made earlier. However, he submitted that it is reported by the learned counsel for the respondent that the matter is settled between the parties. Hence, the present petition may be closed, with a direction to the parties to approach the Trial Court to record their settlements if any.

4. By recording the submissions of both sides, the petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
