ORDER

With the consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. This writ petition is filed to direct the the second respondent to dispose of the appeal petition presented by the petitioner on 12.02.2024 within a time frame fixed by this Court.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first and second respondents and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the third and fourth respondents and perused the materials available on record.

4. The grievance of the writ petitioner is that the petitioner has presented an appeal on 12.02.2024 before the second respondent against the proceedings 2/5

of the third respondent dated 28.10.2023 wherein the third respondent has rejected the application for cancellation of patta issued in favour of the third parties and the appeal is pending without any progress. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in this Writ Petition, the second respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal petition filed by the petitioner dated 12.02.2024 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
