The prayer sought for in the present petition is to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of order dated 29.12.2017 of this Court made in W.P.No.34178 of 2017.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate has submitted that the order of this Court dated 29.12.2017 has been complied with since, the petitioner's representations dated 01.11.2017 and 24.12.2017 have been considered favourably and modification order dated 12.04.208 has also been passed, whereby the petitioner, who was earlier posted as Assistant Surgeon, Arignar Anna Memorial Cancer Hospital, Karapettai, Kancheepuram District has now been re-posted as Professor of General Medicine, Arignar Anna Memorial Cancer Hospital, Karapettai, Kancheepuram District.

3. Recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), the contempt petition stands closed.
