[ RESPONDENTS ] Prayer : This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08/03/2016.

Heard Mr.K.Kalimuthu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.P.V.Selvakumar, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent and Mr.M.Jothikumar, learned Standing Counsel accepting notice on behalf of respondents 2 & 3. By consent of the learned counsel on either side, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.In this Writ Petition, the seeks for issuance of a writ of mandamus to direct the respondents 1 & 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.03.2016. 3.The petitioner has submitted a representation dated 08.03.2016, by submitting that he is willing to pay taxes, but not the charges because no water connection has been given to his premises. Since the representation was not considered, the petitioner is before this Court.

4.In the light of the above, there will be a direction to the third respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.03.2016, and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of his order, after verifying as to whether water connection has been given and if there is no water connection given, the second respondent shall not demand any water charges, but the petitioner shall continue to pay the water taxes and sewerage tax.
