ORDER

These petitions have been filed to quash the FIRs pending in Crime No.1426 of 2014 and 1429 of 2014 on the file of Inspector of Police, H-1 Washermenpet Police Station, Chennai.

2. The petitioners and the party respondents in both the OPs are present.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that Crime No.1426 of 2014 was registered by the first respondent police on the basis of the complaint given by Rajammal against https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Mohan, Ganapathy, and Ganesh, who are petitioners in Criminal OP.No. 1917 of 2015. Similarly Crl.OP.No.1429 of 2014 has been filed against the case registered by the first respondent police on the complaint given by Mohan against Ariokiasamy, petitioner in Crl.OP.No.1920 of 2015 and both the defacto complaint and accused have settled the differences and they have jointly filed compromise Memo and on the basis of the same, the FIR in both the cases may be quashed.

4. The parties were enquired and they were also admitted that the differences have been compromised and settled.

5. Heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

6. Considering the fact that the above cases have been registered for offences under Section 448, 294 (b), 323, 354 and 506 (ii) IPC and the Criminal OP.No.1429 of 2014 has been filed for the offence under Sections 341, 294(b), 352 and 506 (i) IPC and as the said offences are compoundable and the parties are also settled the differences and compromised the case, the FIR in both the cases are quashed.

7. In the result, the Criminal Original Petitions are allowed.
