JUDGMENT

This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is filed against the award dated 28.06.2024 made in M.C.O.P.No.148 of 2023, on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Sub Court, Ambur.

2. A joint memo of compromise has been filed on behalf of the appellant and the 1st respondent, duly signed by the respective parties and their counsel. It is submitted that the parties arrived at an amicable settlement and the appellant agreed to pay a sum of Rs.16,70,000/- to the 1st respondent in full and final settlement inclusive of the interest component. The 1st respondent has agreed to receive the said amount in full and final satisfaction of the award and undertakes not to raise any claim in respect of the same cause of action and the said memo of compromise is recorded.

3. In view of the above, the said memo of compromise is recorded. The civil miscellaneous appeal in C.M.A. No.3705 of 2025 is disposed of in accordance with the memorandum of compromise arrived at between the parties. The memorandum of compromise shall form part of the decree in C.M.A.No.3705 2/4
