Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records in connection with the detention order passed in Cr.M.P.No.24/2020 dated 12.05.2020 on the file of the 2nd respondent herein and set aside the same as illegal and direct the respondents to produce the body or person of the petitioner's husband namely Ramasamy, S.o.Kumar, male, aged 29 years, who is detained in Cenral Prison, Tiruchirappalli before this Court and set him at liberty.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.] The petitioner challenges the impugned order of detention in Cr.M.P.No.24/2020 dated 12.05.2020 detaining her husband as "Bootlegger", as contemplated under Section 2(b) of the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor reports that the order of detention passed against the detenu has been revoked by the Government by its order in G.O.Rt.No.2911 Home, Prohibition and Excise (XV) Department, dated 06.07.2020 and he has also produced a copy of the Government Order.
