Mr.K.J.Sivakumar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

2.The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents to consider his representation dated 14.08.2014, wherein and whereby he sought for grant of patta in his name. The grievance of the petitioner is that the said representation has not been considered by the respondents so far. This Court, at this stage, does not express any view on the claim made by the petitioner, as it is for the respondents, more particularly, the second respondent to consider and decide. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of only with a direction to the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 14.08.2014 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, after giving due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner. within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
