ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the I Additional Family Court to dispose of the application in I.A.No.1209 of 2012

in F.C.O.P.No.4336 of 2011 within a stipulated time. 2.

The petitioner filed an Original Petition in F.C.O.P.No.4336 of 2011 for divorce on the ground of cruelty. In the said Original Petition, the petitioner filed an application in I.A.No.1209 of 2012, claiming interim maintenance.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the application was filed in the year 2012, the Family Court has not disposed of the same yet. Further, the learned counsel submitted that the has not filed his counter till this date.

That apart, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that in view of the long pendency of the application, the petitioner is put to hardship and prejudice.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any thing with regard to the merits of the

case, I direct the I Additional Judge, Family Court, Chennai to dispose of the Application in I.A.No.1209 of 2012 in F.C.O.P.No.4336 of 2011, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the above observation, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
