Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to remove all the encroachment made by the fifth respondent in S.Nos.80 and 112 along the road area (classified as Government Yeri Poramboke and Road Code R-47), Marambedu Village, Budhur Post, For the Petitioner : Mr.C.Prakasam For the Respondents : Mrs.R.Anitha Spl. Government Pleader for respondent Nos.1 to 4 : No appearance for respondent No.5

ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.C.Prakasam, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mrs.R.Anitha, learned Special Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 4.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that an encroachment has been made by erecting a compound wall in Survey Nos.80 and 112 along the road area. The said land is classified as Government Eri Poramboke and Road Code R-47.

3. Learned Special Government Pleader submits that the status report is filed. The encroachment by way of compound wall has been removed on 06.06.2022.

4. In view of the statement made by learned Special Government Pleader, no further orders are required to be passed in this writ petition. However, the Government authorities shall time to time supervise the land in question and, if any encroachment is made, they shall take immediate steps.
