This petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 1129 days in filing the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal.

The reasons adduced in the affidavit filed in support of this petition being satisfactory, this Civil Miscellaneous Petition is ordered and consequently, the delay of 1129 days in filing the appeal is condoned, subject to the condition that the claimants/petitioners shall deposit an amount of Rs.500/- each to the Tamil Nadu State Legal Services Authority, Chennai, and it is also made clear that the claimants/petitioners are not entitled to interest for the delay period i.e., for 1129 days, in the appeal.

Registry is directed to print the name of Mr.M.B.Raghavan, learned counsel for the second respondent, when the matter is listed for admission.
