O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police not to harass the petitioner in Cr.No. Not known of 2022 on the file of the respondent police under the guise of enquiry.

2.The case of the Petitioner is that his wife one Divya had earlier given a complaint against him before Avadi, All Women Police Station. In respect of which, enquiry has been conducted in CSR No.174 of 2021. Suppressing the same, petitioner's wife once again had given a complaint before the respondent police and the respondent police had conducted enquiry in CSR No.329 of 2021 and they are harassing the petitioner.

3. Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that the respondent during the enquiry, came to know that the wife of the petitioner has already given a complaint before the All Women Police Station, Avadi and it has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

been enquired in CSR No.174 of 2021 and for the same, the petitioner has summoned and the said enquiry has been closed. Subsequently, the Petitioner's wife had given a complaint before the Respondent Police and the same has been enquired in CSR.No.329 of 2021. On knowing the fact that the earlier complaint has been closed, the respondent had intended to close and for the purpose of closing the enquiry only the respondent has called the petitioner. He would further submit that the respondent police is not harassing the petitioner.

4. Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (crl. side), this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of with the direction to the respondent police to close the enquiry in accordance with law.
