This writ petition is filed challenging the impugned order passed by the 1st respondent in TNSTC/L2/01/2013 dated 29.08.2013 and quash the same and consequently direct respondents to provide alternative light duty to the petitioner together with the special leave till the date of resuming duty.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner appeared through Video Conferencing mode and the Learned counsel for the respondents is also present.

3. It is reported by the Learned counsel for the petitioner that the cause of filing the writ petition does not survive any more as the writ petitioner retired from service after attaining superannuation. 2/4

4. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands disposed off as having become infructuous. No costs.
