Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th Respondent to pass orders in Na.Ka.No.1630/2024/A2 petitioner modifying patta Nos.3239 and 3240 for petitioner's property comprised in Survey No.385/10 and 385/11 measuring an extent of 7200 sq.ft. situated at Tejraj Colony, Selaiyur Village, Tambaram Taluk, Kancheepuram District, within a time frame fixed by this Court. ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 4th respondent to modify the patta bearing Nos.3239 and 3240 in respect of the properties morefully disclosed in the prayer to this writ petition, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. According to the petitioner, he is the absolute owner of the properties, which are the subject of patta bearing Nos.3239 and 3240. According to the petitioner, there is an error in both the said pattas. He seeks modification of the said pattas through his application, dated 12.09.2022. Since the said application was not considered by the respondents by passing final orders, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

3. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
4. As seen from the documents filed along with this writ petition, the 4th respondent has already initiated proceedings based on the petitioner's application and the petitioner had also participated in the same. However, till date, no final orders have been passed.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner prays for a direction from this Court to direct the 4th respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's application, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
6. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if such a direction is issued by this Court.
7. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 4th respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner's application, dated 12.09.2022 seeking modification of patta bearing Nos.3239 and 3240 for the properties morefully disclosed in the Page No.3 of 6
prayer to this writ petition, after giving due consideration to the supporting documents filed by the petitioner and after hearing the objections, if any, from all the necessary parties, whom the 4th respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
8. With the aforesaid direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
