O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to direct the second respondent to consider and enquire into the petitioner's complaint and representation dated 28.02.2025 during the course of investigation of the case in Crime No.47 of 2025 pending on the file of the second respondent police.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, Puducherry, appearing for the first and second respondent, on instructions, submitted that there is a counter case filed against the third respondent/defacto complainant, which is also pending investigation.

3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, for the respondents 1 and 2, and also perused the materials available on record.

4. In view of the limited prayer sought for in this petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the second respondent 2/4

is directed to conduct an enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, and if any cognizable offence is made out, proceed in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
