Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to recover the illegal interest waiver given to the 5th respondent to the tune of Rs.25,62,791/- as per the report dated 28.07.2011 of the Junior Co-operative Auditor, Tirupathur Region, Vellore District and also initiate suitable proceedings against all the concerned for the illegal waiver of interest extended to the 5th respondent in terms of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies Act and also appropriate criminal proceedings within the time framed stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We are not inclined to entertain this Public Interest Litigation, as it partakes the character of possibly a private lis between the petitioner and respondent No.5. A loan transaction concession is sought to be shown to respondent No.5 over the issue of some interest, and that is a matter to be decided by the concerned authorities.
