Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., prayed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner by an order dated 15.11.2023 in Crl.M.P.No.3358 of 2023 passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem, directing that the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for Rs.25,000/- (Rupees Twenty Five Thousand Only) with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Salem.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking modification of the order dated 15.11.2023 passed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Salem in Crl.M.P.No.3358 of 2023 while granting bail to the petitioner herein. 2.The petitioner stands accused in Crime No.1071 of 2023 registered under Sections 294(b), 394 and 397 of IPC registered by the respondent.

3.While granting bail, the learned Principal Special Judge, had directed that the petitioner should execute a bond for Rs.25,000/- with two sureties for a like sum each to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Salem.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that the order was 2/4

granted on 15.11.2023 and only owing to this particular fact, not able to execute a bond for Rs.25,000/-, the petitioner suffered incarceration for the past four months.

5.Taking all the factors into consideration, the condition imposed on the petitioner is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties, each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate - I, Salem.
