ORDER
This petition has been filed for a writ of certiorarified mandamus, to call for the entire records in pursuant to the rejection letter issued by the 3rd respondent to the petitioner's counsel vide O.Mu.No.5033/Aa1/2014 dated 03.11.2014 and quash the same and consequently further direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to cancel the registration of documents namely "cancellation of settlement deed" dated 29.08.2013 executed by late T.Mohanraj registered by the 2nd respondent as document No.8715 of 2013 in Book No.1 at the 2nd respondent's office 2/5
and the registration of "gift deed" dated 19.09.2013 executed in favour of the 4th respondent by late T.Mohanraj registered as Document No.10007 of 2013 by the 2nd respondent.
2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would seek further time to get instructions.
3.When the case was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate for the 1st to 3rd respondents submitted that the petitioner had filed O.S.No.601 of 2004 before the District Munsif Court at Alandur for declaring the registration of cancellation deed as null and void and that the case has been shown to have been settled before the Lok Adalat on 24.09.2019. Therefore, I do not see any merits in keeping this writ petition alive, as the dispute between the petitioner and the 4th respondent/Private respondent has been settled and nothing further requires to be adjudicated in this writ petition. 3/5
