By consent of both the parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that the petitioner has never approached the authority seeking permission to conduct the cultural programmme in the event of Sri Aathi Kesava Varadharaja Perumal Temple situated at No.115, Santhu Street, Brammapuram, V.I.T Post, Vellore District, scheduled to be held on 01.09.2018. He has simply sent the representation dated 13.08.2018 by post to the respondent.

3.Without approaching the respondent for appropriate orders, the petitioner cannot file a writ and hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
