By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

2. The petitioner along with one Irudayarani, submitted a representation dated 14.08.2014 to the 1st respondent stating among other things that they are the only surviving legal heirs of late Theruveedi, son of Murugan, who was the predecessor in title in respect of the lands admeasuring to an extent of 0.50.0 hectares in Survey No.137/4A1A, situated at Vadaval A Palnallur Village and it is also the subject matter of the land acquisition proceedings in Na.Ka.No.03/2010/A dated 05.07.2013. The petitioner expressed the grievance that though the lands were acquired, no compensation amount have been paid and therefore, submitted a representation dated 14.08.2014 and though, it was acknowledged by the office of the 1st respondent on 20.08.2014, no reply has been received and hence, came forward to file this writ petition. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. Heard the submissions of Mr.A.Gokulakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Roofus Abraham, learned Government Advocate, who accepts notice for the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the claim projected by the petitioner, directs the 1st respondent to consider the representation/application dated 14.08.2014, submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned.
