Respondents Writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India filed praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus calling for the entire records connected with the order of second respondent herein in Memo No.746/BCDFGISSSV/2018 dated 22.08.2018 against the detenu, viz., Saravanan @ Paddy Saravanan, S/o.Pakkiri, aged about 42 years, who is confined at Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai and set aside the same, consequently, directing the respondents herein to produce the body and person of the detenu before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith.

(Order of the Court was made by C.T.SELVAM, J) Petitioner is the wife of the detenu, Saravanan @ Paddy Saravanan S/o.Pakkiri, who has been branded as 'Goonda' under https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of second respondent passed in No.746/BCDFGISSSV/2018 dated 22.08.2018. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the detention order passed against the husband of petitioner in No.746/BCDFGISSSV/2018 dated 22.08.2018 on the file of the second respondent is revoked vide G.O.Rt.No.4450, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 10.10.2018 and produced a copy of the said order.

In view of the above, this petition is closed as it has become infructuous.
