O R D E R

The prayer in the present petition is to transfer the investigation to some other police station from the respondent police in Crime No.343 of 2017 pending on the file of the Inspector of Police, Perambur Police Station, Nagapattinam District.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is no much progress in the investigation and hence sought for transfer the investigation.

3. In my view, such a ground may not be proper to transfer the investigation. On the other hand, it can be directed to be monitored by a Superior Authority.

4. Hence, the respondent police is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report/charge sheet as expeditiously as possible. Such an investigation shall be monitored by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, having jurisdiction over the respondent police station. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

With the above observations and directions, the Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
