O R D E R
This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.03.2024 and consequently direct the 2nd respondent police to give police protection from the threat of the respondents 3 and 4 and their henchmen and preventing them from not to interfere with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioner's landed property in Survey Nos.33/1, 33/2, 34/1, 24/1, 24/2 situated at K.Aatur Village, Chidambaram Taluk, Cuddalore District.
2.Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of respondents 1 & 2. 3.Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents submitted that the representation made by the petitioner is not available with the respondents. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that if fresh representation is made by the petitioner, the same will be enquired and a decision will be taken with regard to providing police protection.
4.Considering the submissions made by learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the 2nd respondents. The 2nd respondents, on receipt of the same, shall conduct an enquiry by issuing notice to all the interested parties and shall take a decision within a period of four (4) weeks.
